We’re big fans of LOST here at TVStalker. So big in fact we are already planning to somehow be in the same state to watch the finale together. Because that’s what friends do for each other.
THE SUPER HARDCORE
These are the type of LOST fans that scare off normal people from watching the show. They have seen every episode and season countless times and are the ones that will pick out the most minuscule details from each episode. You know how characters are sometimes found carrying books? Well these guys research those books and see how they tie into the LOST story. I do not enjoy watching LOST with these types of fans, but I do enjoy reading their recaps after.
THE ROMANTICS
These are the type of fans that are only watching LOST to see if Kate ends up with Jack or Sawyer. All the island stuff with Jacob and Ben just gets in the way of the romance.
THE CATCHING-UP-ON-DVD CROWD
I hate trying to talk about LOST with these kids. They are usually on like season 2 or 3 and ask really fun questions like “do we ever find out more about The Others?” or “do you think they will ever get off the island?” Just catch up already!
THE ANGRY LOST FANS
These are probably my least favorite LOST watchers. These are the type of fans that start complaining about the episode as soon as it ends because they feel more confused than when the episode started. If you are upset about the plot or feel like they aren’t answering enough questions, then go watch another show. May I suggest a simple show to fit with your simple personality, like Ghost Whisperer or Ugly Betty.
THE ETERNALLY CONFUSED AND FAITHFUL
This is the category that best represents Meggan and me. We will be the first to admit that we don’t know what is going and we don’t spend our free time coming up with theories about the island. At the end of an episode we don’t start complaining; we turn to our friends (because we have them [not personally…but some do]) and start discussing what we just watched. We accept LOST for what it is: a quality, entertaining show.

You kids REALLY need to get a life.... HOW in the world to you have time to do so much watching and analyzing? Meggan told me you would be of no use helping me to become more techno-saavy, but just look how you two can keep me up on all the current pop culture.....
